Researched and defined the overall product and interaction model. Created wireframes, illustrations, UI style sheets, high fidelity digital mockups and animations.

Introducing state of the art behavioural modelling and contextual intelligence tool to aid the learners on the UK roads.
The website and the app have been developed for both learners and instructors.

Quantified feedback to eliminate driving errors thus making UK roads safer for new drivers.

Statistically, an average 1.5 million practical driving tests are booked every year in the UK with a strikingly low pass rate of 49% or less.

One out of every five newly qualified drivers are involved in serious road traffic collisions within 6 months of passing their test.

Driving Instructors
The mission is to empower driving instructors with an easy to use mobile application consisting of learner profiles and quantified feedback processes to keep learners informed. With automation and cost-effective marketing features, driving instructors can optimize on their tuition hours without the hassle of too much administration.

Learners
This app gives learners everything they need for driving lessons, they create their profile, communicate with approved driving instructors and schedule in lessons. In order to make the learning process simple, we implemented high-end features to assist the learner and the instructor alike.

360 ° learner behavior insights & scoring

Multi-dimensional driving scores and trip analytics to show driving behavior.

Context-aware intelligence, allowing to harmonize scores to driver and trip context: trip purpose, driving conditions and environment.

  • Real-time communication

    The learner and the driving instructor can get in touch at any time, via text messages or calls. The calls will be directed to the users cell-phone, so it can be connected as long as there is reception.

  • Full schedule and bookings management

    Both the driving instructor and the learner can manage and adjust any details about their bookings, including re-scheduling or requesting a new pick-up location for each driving lesson.

  • In-app skill ratings

    Compliant to the DVSA skill chart, app allows the driving instructors to rate the learner’s skills on the spot.The driving instructor can also request an assessment lesson before accepting a booking.

  • Driving behaviour analysis

    For every driving lesson, app records the driving events and generates a detailed report, allowing the learner to revisit their past lessons and check their driving progress.

  • Skill evolution and Test-Ready status

    After every lesson, the learner driving skills are updated. By using advanced algorithms, app can estimate how many more driving hours are needed to achieve full readiness and give estimate on learners skills.

  • Bring your current schedule

    The driving instructors can manually create the bookings they already have in their agenda. These bookings will not be charged and the learners will benefit from the full features our app has to offer.

Driver's Record

The Driving Standards Agency have developed the Driver's Record to help you keep track of your progress and encourage you to become skilled in all the key areas.
The Driver’s Record is based on the recommended syllabus for learning to drive and lists all the competencies necessary for safe driving. It will help a learner driver to see what progress they have made and identify the competencies yet to be covered.

Instructor's Part & Pupil's Part
The Driver’s Record has two separate parts. The first part is designed for the instructor to record detailed progress on a lesson by lesson basis. The second part is designed for the pupil to keep, to show progress towards each of the key competencies.

Problem solving
By displaying instructor's scores entered after every lesson, learners can reach their historical data and see their improvements, failures.
More insights and analytics over driving skills comes with collected data and AI used.
Lessons & behavioral change while driving can be tracked by turning phone's sensor data into contextual insights using AI, including aggregate driver scores as well as individual driving events (brakes, turns, accelerations, etc.)

After the lesson

Together with driver's online records and insights executed from record's history, phone's movement data is shown with an interactive map: Acceleration events: Acceleration, Brake, Coasting
